About Me

My photo
Eve
UT, United States
A native New Yorker, I grew up going back and forth between the city and the country. I was equally inspired by both worlds. The bustle of museums, fashion and punk rock paired perfectly with the quiet solitude of trees, bugs and salamanders. I met my husband at The School of Visual Arts in NYC in 1985. We went on to have careers and joined the commuter rat race. When our children arrived, our life took a shift. We homeschooled the girls and found ourselves craving more country and less city. We began creeping up farther away from the city. Over the years we felt our family becoming stagnant: spiritually, creatively and physically. The decision was unanimous to flee NY in search of a different life. In 2018, we packed up two teens, two snakes and one guinea pig and headed west to seek our fortune! Here we are in Utah, feeling more at home than ever. Life has really opened up for us. We are doing things we love and every day is an adventure.
